Bold Gold: Eye Look & Review

Hey guys! So today I have a review as well as a look for it. This is on Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Bold Gold. As you can see, I created gold eyeliner with the cream. I then topped it with Urban Decay's Half Baked for shimmer and shine. Then I used two mascaras: Covergirl Lashblast and Mabelline's MegaPlush Volume. It was really simple and only used 4 products!

Now, onto the review. This is the third color tattoo I've tried. The first two being Tough as Taupe and Barely Beige. As it says, this is a gold shimmery color with great pigmentation and it stays on forever! No primer necessary. Sometimes if I forget to take my makeup off there will be remnants of this left when I wake up! These Maybelline Color Tattoo's are the best things ever. I love them! Now if only they'd come out with a nude matte one...

Tarte Deluxe Primer Trio Review

First Impressions:

Clean Slate Poreless: I was honestly very disappointed with this. When I applied it, it felt greasy and gross on my skin. It was a clear gel like texture. All day I was itching to wipe my makeup off of my face. It didn't do anything to improve the appearance or lasting power of my makeup. I wore my Maybelline BB cream with it, which isn't technically a foundation, but my friend Savannah wears foundation and she got this trio as well, and had the same opinion. I will definitely not be buying the full size in this.

Clean Slate Flawless: This primer felt much better going onto my skin. It was a cream rather than a gel, so it sunk into my skin well. It had a slightly citric smell, but it was pleasant. I only wore powder on top of it, but it felt much better.

Eye Primer: This did as it was supposed to, kept my eyeshadow on all day, but it's a bit liquidy. I find that I like my UDPP much better because it's easier to blend in and you don't have to worry about having too much. Overall, it's a fine product, and works perfectly, but I'd choose UDPP over it.

Second Impressions:

Clean Slate Flawless: I wore this cream under a foundation and it was just as great as it was with the powder. It feels really nice on your skin and has a nice citric smell. It felt moisturizing, but not greasy. The foundation stayed on throughout an entire sweet sixteen party, and I was dancing all night! I really love this product.

Primer: I tried the primer again, and I do like it a lot. I wish that the dispenser was different because you have to squeeze a lot to get it out and usually when it comes out it's too much. I wish that it had a wand instead, but the product works and that's what really matters.

Overall: I love the Clean State Flawless primer, and I like the eye primer, but I really dislike the Clean Slate Poreless primer.

Review: Garnier Makeup Remover Wipes

Recently I ran out of my elf makeup remover wipes, so I decided to try these Garnier ones! I really like it. It's great at removing makeup, and doesn't irritate my eyes. It doesn't work wonders on waterproof mascara, you still have to scrub for that. Overall, I really like these wipes and I would repurchase them.

Rimmel Lipstick Review ♥ Auburn Breeze

Hey guys! Another lipstick review... sorry I've gone lipstick crazy lately! This is a gorgeous warm auburn brown berry fall color with gold shimmer.

One complaint I have with this lipstick is the smell. I really don't like it ^-^

Overall opinion: It's not the creamiest lipstick and I don't like the smell, but it's not bad. I do love the color. It's very nice for the fall and winter time. The sparkles in it do make the lipstick feel a little less soft going onto your lips.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder Review

I absolutely LOVE this powder! It feels great on your skin and never looks cakey. It's so affordable and really sets your makeup well! As the second product I've ever tried from Rimmel, I'm so impressed! I heard so many raves on youtube that I had to try it out for myself, and it's just amazing. I can't go on enough. Ah. My goodness. It has minerals in it, and it's completely matte, and just amazing. I have nothing else really to say, besides the fact that it's AMAZING.

Revlon Eyeliner Review ♥ Blackberry

This is a crayon eyeliner from Revlon in the color blackberry, a grayish muted purple. I bought this and was extremely excited to try a plum eyeliner, however, I was disappointed. It's very difficult to apply, and doesn't transfer onto the eye well. I tried running it across my hand a few times to warm it up, but it was still difficult. I don't like doing negative reviews, but this product definitely wasn't worth it. The one good thing about this is it's staying power. I had to scrub really hard to get the swatch off. I'll have to continue my search for a plum eyeliner.

FOTD: Simple

Today I felt very simple, and went for my makeup only used two products: Maybelline's Fit Me Concealer and Maybelline's MegaPlush mascara. Ever since eighth grade I've had it stuck in my head that I need eyeliner to be pretty and to look pretty, but I've finally broken that thought and figured out I don't need it. For now, I'm going to stop wearing it altogether :) 

Hard Candy ♥ Stroke of Gorgeous Review

This is the second product I've tried from Hard Candy. The first being their baked eyeshadow duos. This eyeliner is teal and vibrant. When I purchased this I thought it was navy blue because that was what the set up depicted, but was disappointed by the bright teal color. Also, the pen applicator was hard for me to use, if you're used to it, it probably wouldn't be an issue but I found it very difficult. Other than that, the color stays a long time, it practically stained my arm! It was hard to remove even with makeup remover. For some people this might be an amazing product, but for me it just doesn't work.

Maybelline Eyeshadow Review ♥ Rose Lights

Without Primer

With Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden

This is a new quad from Maybelline's Luminous Lights line. When I saw these shadows I thought they were gorgeous, and I had been looking for some peachy colored eyeshadows. However, the pigmentation is quite disappointing. They are similar to begin with, but you can't even tell that theres more than one color on your eye. They're way too sheer, even over a matte base. I would love this, but the shadows just aren't pigmented enough. I'd pass on this quad.

Maybelline Line Stiletto Review

Holy grail product found! This eyeliner is so easy to apply (and I'm terrible at liquid liner) and so pigmented! It stays all day and has a great color. I absolutely love this and recommend it to everyone! The applicator is a sponge tip and it's so easy to use. I now wear liquid liner daily! Mine is is black/brown, although its more brown than black. I can't rave enough about this eyeliner! It's a great product!

Wet n Wild Lipstick Review ♥ Blushing Bali

Another lipstick review! This lipstick is by Wet n Wild and is called Blushing Bali.

It's a pretty warm berry color that's lovely for fall. The best part is, it's only $1!

Overall Opinion: This lipstick applies nicely and is very affordable. Like many other lipsticks, staying power isn't great. However, it's definitely worth the dollar. 

L'Oreal Lipstick Review ♥ Peach Fuzz

Hey guys! Today I have a review on the L'oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in Peach Fuzz! I don't know about you guys, but even though it's fall I still wear lighter lip colors! This is a gorgeous peachy pink with shimmer. 

Overall Opinion: This is such a creamy and nice lipstick, it feels great on your lips and has great pigmentation. Staying power isn't great, like most lipsticks, but I like this lipstick a lot!

Holy Grail Hair Products

Today's post is about some holy grail hair products.

On the left is my Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Nutrient Spray

This makes your hair so soft and shiny, and it also smells really good! I like using it as a finishing touch when I style my hair. It makes your hair look so sleek and smooth!

On the right is my Tresemme Tres Two Spray

This hairspray is the best I've ever tried. It doesn't make your hair hard and it holds so well! It can even resist humidity. I have the kind of hair that will fall out of style as soon as I get outside, but with this, it never does! And it's so darn affordable!
