Bold Gold: Eye Look & Review

Hey guys! So today I have a review as well as a look for it. This is on Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Bold Gold. As you can see, I created gold eyeliner with the cream. I then topped it with Urban Decay's Half Baked for shimmer and shine. Then I used two mascaras: Covergirl Lashblast and Mabelline's MegaPlush Volume. It was really simple and only used 4 products!

Now, onto the review. This is the third color tattoo I've tried. The first two being Tough as Taupe and Barely Beige. As it says, this is a gold shimmery color with great pigmentation and it stays on forever! No primer necessary. Sometimes if I forget to take my makeup off there will be remnants of this left when I wake up! These Maybelline Color Tattoo's are the best things ever. I love them! Now if only they'd come out with a nude matte one...

After that I took Smog on the outer half.
Then, I used buck in the crease with my crease brush.
To add a little more darkness, I used the crease brush and patted some of Darkhorse onto my outer third.
I used Urban Decay's 24/7 Zero Eyeliner and Covergirl Lashblast Mascara.

Eyeshadow Look: Comfort Zone

Hey guys! So I have a quick eyeshadow look for you today.

Using my comfort zone palette from Wet n Wild, I took the left browbone shade on my inner half, and then put the left eyelid shade on my outer half. I really love the warmth and rosy bronze look the eyeshadow has. These colors are great for enhancing blue eyes.

The wet n wild comfort zone palette can be found at Walmart, K-Mart, CVS, and a few other places for around $5. It's a great deal!

Eyeshadow Look: Golden Rose

Hey guys! So today I have an eyeshadow look, and it's a golden-rosey look. Sorry it's hard to see in the pic, I had trouble getting a good picture of it!
I used the revlon cream eyeshadow natural color (2nd color in the bottom palette) as a base.
Then I took mac's Honey Lust eyeshadow (left color in the big palette) on the inner corner and around the tear duct.
Last, I took the lighter pink color in the Maybelline quad (top right) and put that on my outer half.

Eyeshadow Look: Smokey Green

Hey guys! So today I have an eyeshadow look that's a bit out of the ordinary for me. Usually I stick to natural eyelooks that have absolutely no darkness to them, but I wanted to experiment with my Wet n Wild Comfort Zone Palette (shown at the bottom), and this is the look I got!

I used the left browbone shade on the inner 1/3, the left eyelid shade on the outer 2/3, the crease shade in the crease, the left eyelid shade to blend that out, and a little bit of the left definer in the outer corner.
Then I used my urban decay 24/7 eyeliner in zero on my waterline and upper lashline, and used my mega plush mascara.

Walking On Eggshells

Recently I picked up this Wet n Wild Trio in Walking on Eggshells, which is extremely popular around the beauty community. It was $2.69 at Giant. It comes with 3 eyeshadows that tell you exactly where they go. emilynoel83 on youtube (Beauty Broadcast) Talking about all three of these colors being dupes for mac eyeshadows!
This is perfect for everyday, school, work, whatever you do on a daily basis because it's pretty natural and easy and quick.

I took the eyelid shade and put it all over my lid and then fluffed the crease shade into my crease. I put a tiny bit of the browbone shade on my inner corner.
I really love these eyeshadows, they're extremely pigmented and have an amazing price. Definitely my favorite drugstore eyeshadow brand!

elf Eyeshadow Look: Naturally Golden

So I was playing around with my new products from elf, and I came up with this really pretty eyeshadow look that I thought I would share! elf is one of my favorite drugstore brands because of it's great prices, and many of their products turn out to be amazing! This is a very affordable look, but is still gorgeous. The pictures don't completely show it justice because I couldn't have natural lighting,

Studio Eyeshadow Single in Oatmeal ($3)
Brightening Eye Color in Day 2 Night ($1)
Mineral Eyeshadow in Golden ($3)
I took the oatmeal eyeshadow and put that all over the lid, I used the taupe color from the Day 2 Night quad and put that on my outer corner and in the crease, and then patted a tiny bit of golden onto the center of the lid for extra sparkle.

Eyeshadow Look: Teal & Purple

So after watching emilynoel83's newest tutorial on youtube, I decided that I wanted to give the teal/purple look a try, and I really do love it. It's really simple and really glamorous, perfect for a party or a dinner.

What I Used:
elf 100 color pro palette
ULTA pencil eyeliner in peacock
NYX eyeshadow base

1. Apply a primer or a base all over your lid and a little bit into your crease. I used NYX's eyeshadow base in white.
2. Take a medium teal color and place that all over your lid.
3. Take a darker teal color and lightly pat that on your outer corner.
4. Lightly fluff a dark purple into your crease
5. Apply a teal eyeliner on your waterline. I used one from ULTA.
6. Curl your lashes really well and really build up that mascara to give the look it's finishing touch.

Eyeshadow Look: Neutral Sparkle

Today I did an eyeshadow look that pulled colors from many different brands of shadows.

What I used:
NYX Eyeshadow Base in White
Mac Shadow: Honey Lust
Maybelline Eyestudio quad in Taupe Temptress (top quad)
Revlon Colorstay 12 Hour Eyeshadow Quad in Neutral Khakis (bottom quad)
Hard Candy Kal-eye-descope Baked Eyeshadow Duo in High Maintenance

What I did first was use NYX Eyeshadow Base  all over my lid. Then I used the cream color out of the Hard Candy Duo Baked Shadow all over my lid. Then, I went back in with my Revlon eyeshadow palette in  and used the golden brown color on my outer corner. Next I mixed the second Hard Candy Duo brown shadow mixed in with the darkest brown from the Revlon palette in my crease. Then, I took Mac's Honey Lust and patted that in the center of my eyelid. Finally, I took the white sparkly color from my Maybelline palette and used it on my inner corner. Although it did show up pretty well on camera, I think my flash toned down the brown golden colors that were present.

Since this look is so shimmery, I would recommend using makeup remover to swipe under your eyes to make sure the glitter that fell doesn't stay. (I didn't for this picture however). No one wants to look shimmery all over their face!

Eyeshadow Look

Today I felt like creating an eyeshadow look, so I decided to use some eyeshadow I don't use often. All the products used were extremely affordable, and I love them all.

What I Used:
NYX Eyeshadow Base in White
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Yogurt
ULTA Baked Eyeshadow in Sweet Dreams
Maybelline Eyeshadow Quad in Taupe Temptress

First I applied the NYX Eyeshadow base all over the lid, then applied the NYX jumbo eye pencil over top of that. I took the multi-colored half of the ulta eyeshadow with an eyeshadow brush and put that right over top of everything else. Then, I took the taupe color in the Maybelline quad and put that in the outer corner and the crease very lightly. I blended it out a bit, then I went back and put the NYX jumbo eye pencil in yogurt on my inner corner as the highlight.
