Benefit They're Real! Review

Hey guys! Today I'm reviewing benefit's They're Real! mascara. The mini size I have was $10, and I recieved it from a friend for christmas. Full size is $23.

The brush is spiky and the tip of it is almost ball like, covered in spikes.

It does give a nice amount of length and separation.

I applied this at around 11:30, and my eyelashes did uncurl by 4, but that's not bad for a non waterproof mascara! I did like it a lot, but it didn't make it look like I was wearing fake lashes. It's a really nice mascara, however, and I like to layer it atop other mascaras.
Length: 4/5
Separation: 3.5/5
Volume: 3/5
Stay Power: 4/5

Overall: 3.5/5
I'm still looking for that perfect mascara that makes my lashes look amazing. This was good, but not go-to.

Oh and I hit 100 followers!! I'm going to do a giveaway. :)

Products I Don't Use Enough #2

Hey guys! So today I am doing my second 'Products I Don't Use Enough' post. These are products that are really great and that I love, but I just hardly use them!

First, at the top left, is my elf duo eyeshadow cream in Butter Pecan. These make great bases for eyeshadow.

At the top right is my ULTA whipped eyeshadow in tiramisu. I absolutely love this. It stays on all day without a primer and has great pigmentation

Last, my NYX lip glosses. These are so pigmented and nice looking, but I just don't wear gloss all that often. Top is french kiss, middle is beige, and bottom is nude peach.

1 Bobbypin + Second Day Curls

Hey guys! Today I'm doing another hair post because it got some votes on my poll and I hardly ever do any. This is how to style second day curls with one bobbypin. Sounds kinda random, I know, but sometimes all you can find is a single bobbypin and you gotta fix your hurr! Anyways, here are two easy hairstyles.

1. Gather your hair to the side opposite your part
2. Take one piece of hair from the side of your part, and twist it around your hair, forming what looks like a hair tie.
3. Place the bobby pin in the back of your ponytail to hide it.

1. Take two pieces of hair from either side of your head
2. Twist them together in the back of your head
3. Slide the bobbypin horizontally across the twisted part

So those are the two styles I came up with. I hope you enjoyed this post! :)

Oh! And I'm at 98 followers. Giveaway at 100!

Dupes: Urban Decay vs. Wet n Wild

Hey guys! Today I have my first ever post about dupes. These are two dupes of urban decay eyeshadows that I found in Wet n Wild's shadows. I don't really know if any of these are like well known, but I figured I'd post them,

Top: Wet n Wild's Definer Shade from Comfort Zone Palette
Bottom: Urban Decay's Darkhorse

First up is Urban Decay's Darkhorse. This picture is from my feminine palette but it's also in the Naked Palette. I found my dupe in a wet n wild palette.
Differences: Darkhorse goes on smoother and is easier to work with, and is slightly cooler.

Top: Wet n Wild's Eyelid Shade from Walking On Eggshells Trio
Bottom: Urban Decay's Sin

The next dupe is Urban Decay's Sin. I found it in the Walking On Eggshells Wet n Wild trio. Although the wet n wild shade is a bit more peachy, they're still very similar.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! Also, filmed a full face holiday tutorial for my channel :) I would love feedback, so check it out if you have time! Click here to see it :)

With the New Year Comes Changes

Hey guys! A quick little update post. I wanted to let you guys know that next friday, I will be taking a break from blogging until the new year. This is so that I can take time to compile reviews and such. Also, I'm going to have many more fashion posts next year. I'll be getting a tripod with my christmas money, which means improved pictures and videos for my youtube channel. Also, I'm doing a major shopping trip. I mainly don't do fashion posts because I don't feel that my clothes are sufficient, but after I buy clothes I'll have tons of posts coming. So, get excited for 2013, because I know I am!

Just Enough Buff: Revlon Lipstick Review

A quick lipstick review for you today :)
Here I have Just Enough Buff, a gorgeous peachy nude that's just slightly lighter than my lip color. This is a Revlon Colorburst lipstick. This lipstick is moisturizing and a really pretty nude. It doesn't wash me out and it has a peachy tone - something I've been searching for. I really love this lipstick and I'm looking forward to trying more in the line.

Conair Spiral Curlers

Hey guys! Today's post is about these Spiral Curlers from Conair. They're flexible sticks and come into two sizes: the blue are smaller than the pink. It comes with 18, so even if you have thick hair you don't need to worry. What you do, is when your hair is wet you wrap it around in a spiral, and then bend the ends over to hold the hair in place. After that, you can blow dry your hair or sleep on it until it dries.
I use bobby pins to keep mine in place better because the first time I tried them, they fell out while I slept! The second picture is how my hair looked when I took it out of the curlers. This is a great no heat way to curl your hair. I use to curl my hair at least 3 days out of the week with a curling iron, but now I can get the curls I want without heat! I got my curlers at target for about $13.

At the end of the day my hair fell out a little, and this is how it looked! Without hairspray!
When your hair dries, it tends to stay in form better than when curled with heat. The same thing goes for when you braid your hair at night, you don't have to use hair spray.

Overall, these curlers have become my everyday hair. I love curls, and now I can get them without any damage to my hair.

Fearless: Ear Cuff Trend

Hey guys! Today I bring you a trend: ear cuffs. I think these are really edgy but still cute, and it's cool that you can get that cartilage look without piercing your ear! There's two ways you can wear them, shown in the pictures below. Personally, I like the second way better. It fits better and stays on your ear well.

I got my ear cuff from Claire's for $7.50.
And also, I got this cute little bracelet from BCBG that says fearless on it. It's very inspirational and stylish. I like how it looks with my braided purple headband!

Wet n Wild Review: I'm Getting Sunburned Trio

Hey guys! Quick review today. This is a wet n wild trio in "I'm Getting Sunburned" Wet n Wild is an extremely affordable great quality brand you can find at CVS, Walgreens, and sometimes Walmart. These trio's can range from $2.29 to $3. As you can see, they're pretty decent quality, but I never really use this trio. The golden bronze is too shimmery, the brown is too dark, and pink just isn't a common color used. Overall, it's a pretty trio with pretty colors with decent pigmentation, but it's not something you'd get a lot of use out of.

Mac Trax Eyeshadow

Hey guys! I finally got another mac eyeshadow for my palette! This color is called Trax.
This is a unique lilac color with gold shimmer to it.

This eyeshadow has just enough pigmentation where you don't have to work for it, but you can pack it on as you please.

I find that this is a gorgeous alternative to neutral browns. Purple looks good with all eye colors!

Oh, and also... I hit 2012 views! Thought it was funny :)

Bold Gold: Eye Look & Review

Hey guys! So today I have a review as well as a look for it. This is on Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Bold Gold. As you can see, I created gold eyeliner with the cream. I then topped it with Urban Decay's Half Baked for shimmer and shine. Then I used two mascaras: Covergirl Lashblast and Mabelline's MegaPlush Volume. It was really simple and only used 4 products!

Now, onto the review. This is the third color tattoo I've tried. The first two being Tough as Taupe and Barely Beige. As it says, this is a gold shimmery color with great pigmentation and it stays on forever! No primer necessary. Sometimes if I forget to take my makeup off there will be remnants of this left when I wake up! These Maybelline Color Tattoo's are the best things ever. I love them! Now if only they'd come out with a nude matte one...

Tarte Deluxe Primer Trio Review

First Impressions:
Clean Slate Poreless: I was honestly very disappointed with this. When I applied it, it felt greasy and gross on my skin. It was a clear gel like texture. All day I was itching to wipe my makeup off of my face. It didn't do anything to improve the appearance or lasting power of my makeup. I wore my Maybelline BB cream with it, which isn't technically a foundation, but my friend Savannah wears foundation and she got this trio as well, and had the same opinion. I will definitely not be buying the full size in this.

Clean Slate Flawless: This primer felt much better going onto my skin. It was a cream rather than a gel, so it sunk into my skin well. It had a slightly citric smell, but it was pleasant. I only wore powder on top of it, but it felt much better.

Eye Primer: This did as it was supposed to, kept my eyeshadow on all day, but it's a bit liquidy. I find that I like my UDPP much better because it's easier to blend in and you don't have to worry about having too much. Overall, it's a fine product, and works perfectly, but I'd choose UDPP over it.

Second Impressions:

Clean Slate Flawless: I wore this cream under a foundation and it was just as great as it was with the powder. It feels really nice on your skin and has a nice citric smell. It felt moisturizing, but not greasy. The foundation stayed on throughout an entire sweet sixteen party, and I was dancing all night! I really love this product.

Primer: I tried the primer again, and I do like it a lot. I wish that the dispenser was different because you have to squeeze a lot to get it out and usually when it comes out it's too much. I wish that it had a wand instead, but the product works and that's what really matters.

Overall: I love the Clean State Flawless primer, and I like the eye primer, but I really dislike the Clean Slate Poreless primer.
